ICU RN - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac patients and surgical recoveries. Supports patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while educating patients and families on managing their health post-treatment. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Participates in ongoing professional development and adheres to safety standards, contributing to a supportive, team-oriented environment. Qualifications & Skills RN licensure required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree as minimum. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience. Experience in critical care or ICU settings is advantageous. Strong Assessment, Communication, And Teamwork Skills Are Essential. Key Duties Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and home care needs.Participate in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding patient progress.
