ICU RN - Full Time - Night Shift

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac patients and critical care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established nursing standards.
• Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and contributing to professional development.
• Developing and documenting personalized care plans, ensuring effective communication across the care team.
• Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
• Adhering to safety protocols as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree, RN license, no prior experience necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
