ICU Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) - Evening

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a new multidisciplinary ICU.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high patient care standards.
• Serve as a mentor, resource, and clinical leader to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Manage staffing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Oversee patient care planning, documentation, and compliance.
• Ensure operational efficiency, staff productivity, and adherence to budget and departmental goals.
• Handle payroll, staffing assignments, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN required)
• RN license
• Critical care experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Leadership experience preferred
• Additional experience in supervision and staff management highly valued
• Safety-sensitive responsibilities requiring alertness and safety awareness
