About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit.
Responsibilities
- Support the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Manage personnel: hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and fostering professional growth.
- Participate in staffing, budget development, and ensuring operational goals are met.
- Oversee patient care, implement collaborative care plans, and document interventions.
- Manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary actions.
- Ensure safety and compliance in a safety-sensitive environment.
Qualifications
- BSN required; RN license essential.
- 2+ years RN experience; leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in ICU is a plus.
