Assistant Nurse Manager - ICU - Nights

About the role

Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the ICU at St. Joseph's Hospital South – Medical/Surgical ICU – Riverview, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues
• Ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR Higher
• 2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• PREFERRED: 1 year of Nursing Leadership
• PREFERRED: CCRN certification
