Ice Cream Site Manufacturing Excellence Manager

The Role

• Coaches sites on World Class Manufacturing (ICMS) journey and coordinates validation through maturity assessments.
• Supports the development and implementation of Site Master Plans, focusing on quality data, SMED, Center-lining, and Kaizen workshops.
• Challenges norms, establishes standards, and celebrates success.
• Responsible for the implementation, management, and successful operation of the Ice Cream Manufacturing Systems (ICMS) Continuous Improvement Methodology process in the factory.
• Develops and leads production waste and cost reduction programs.
• Provides skills development and coaching for all employees across all levels.
• Implements digital tools to enable improvement.

Qualifications

• 4 years University degree required, preferred with Engineering focus.
• 5+ years’ leadership experience in general business & manufacturing expertise.
• TPM/Six Sigma/LEAN experience required and proven successful implementation of such programs.
• Food &/or CPG manufacturing experience highly preferred.

Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compare rates, ratios, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Limited travel may be required.

Pay

Pay Range: $103,000 to $154,400.

Bonus

This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI)

This position is LTI eligible.
