Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and developing long-term relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, PCB layout, manufacturing, and quality teams to translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions and resolve technical or production issues.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial terms; negotiate contracts and close deals while protecting company margins.
- Develop account plans and strategies, forecasting pipeline and revenue, and reporting regularly on account health and sales performance.
- Cook up project timelines, production schedules, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and effective communication across internal teams and with customers.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on electronics and PCB-related inquiries, including design for manufacturability, material selection, and testing requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product improvements and business strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality and customer experience.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote products and services and expand the professional network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of account management, technical sales, or business development experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB fabrication, or related engineering industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex technical accounts.
- Solid technical understanding of electronics, PCB design and manufacturing processes, materials, and testing procedures.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing pricing and margins.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build credibility with clients.
- Project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office suite, and familiarity with CAD/EDA tools or PCB documentation is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, factory visits, and industry events.
Pay
Base salary 70 - 90K Commissions of 10%
