HVACR Installer, Lead

ConServ Building Services is seeking experienced HVACR Commercial Lead Installers for immediate hire in North and South Carolina. Travel between both states is required; a company van and gas card are provided.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, scopes, and equipment submittals
• Apply knowledge of local mechanical codes for estimating and inspections
• Estimate job pricing, perform material takeoffs, and order materials to complete jobs
• Layout ductwork for installation and coordinate with other trades
• Install sheet metal, fibrous board, flex duct, dampers, and air devices
• Measure and draw sheet metal duct fittings for ordering
• Hang and set exhaust fans, louvers, units, and other mechanical equipment
• Hang copper, PVC, and piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate, and chilled-water piping
• Insulate ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
• Perform low-voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices
• Copper brazing, equipment startup, and troubleshooting (a plus)
• Communicate daily work progress via company tablet

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
• EPA certification
• Refrigeration knowledge
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Able to work independently
• Must pass a criminal background check and on-site drug test
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Schedule

Monday through Friday only; no weekend work.
