Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, scopes, and equipment submittals
• Apply knowledge of local mechanical codes for estimating and inspections
• Prepare estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs, and ordering
• Layout ductwork for installation and coordinate with other trades
• Install sheet metal, fibrous board, flex duct, dampers, and air devices
• Measure and draft sheet‑metal duct fittings for ordering
• Hang and set exhaust fans, louvers, units, and other mechanical equipment
• Install copper, PVC, and piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate, and CHW piping
• Insulate ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
• Perform low‑voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other devices
• Conduct copper brazing; equipment startup and troubleshooting (a plus)
• Communicate daily work progress through company tablet

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the HVAC trade
• EPA certification
• Refrigeration knowledge
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Ability to work independently
• Pass a criminal background check and on‑site drug test
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license

Schedule

Position is Monday through Friday only, with no weekend work. Travel between North and South Carolina is required; a company van and gas card are provided.
