What You Will Be Doing

• Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
• Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
• Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
• LAYOUT OF DUCT WORK FOR INSTALL AND COORDINATION WITH OTHER TRADES
• Installation of sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
• MESURING & DRAWING UP SHEET METAL DUCT FITTINGS TO BE ORDERED
• HANGING/SETTING OF EXHAUST FANS, LOUVERS, UNITS & OTHER MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
• HANGING OF COPPER, PVC & PIPING HANGERS FOR REFRIGERANT, CONDENSATE & CHW PIPING
• INSULATION OF DUCTWORK WITH EXTERIOR FIBERGLASS WRAP
• LOW VOLTAGE CONTROL WIRING FOR THERMOSTATS, DAMPERS, HEATERS, AND OTHER CONTROL DEVICES
• COPPER BRAZING AND EQUIPMENT STARTUP
• DAILY COMMUNICATION OF WORK COMPLETED THROUGH COMPANY TABLET

What You Need for This Position

• 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
• Must have EPA certification
• Refrigeration knowledge
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on-site drug test
• Able to maintain a clean driving record and have a valid driver's license
