HVAC Technician, Saturday-Wednesday 3rd shift

About the role

The HVAC Technician position is available for a Saturday-Wednesday shift from 10:00pm to 8:30am. Training will take place Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm for approximately 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining coolers and freezers including Ultra Low temperature Freezers
• Maintaining Centrifugal and Reciprocating refrigeration chillers
• Maintaining Chilled water systems including distribution and condenser pumps
• Maintaining Air Compressors
• Electrical power systems and stand-by power generation equipment
• Following current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) and good business practices (G)
• Participating in rotational on-call for site emergency work
• Ensuring safe and efficient hands-on maintenance of all plant manufacturing equipment and related support equipment with strict adherence to SOP's, cGMP's, GDP’s and quality standards
• Becoming fully gown qualified to work within Production areas
• Communicating and coordinating with each department and within Facilities Management when planned and unplanned work events occur
• May plan and schedule outside contractors/vendors to perform scheduled and/or non-scheduled Preventative Maintenance or general work

• Basic problem-solving skills
• Able to learn and follow routine procedures independently as well as part of a team
• Comfortable and flexible to work in a changing environment
• Can lift, push, and pull at least 50lbs
• Seek to build and maintain positive working relationships with the business
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain effective time management skills to allow deadlines to be met in a timely manner
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and overall comfort and general familiarity with computer systems

Qualifications

• For HVAC Technician II: 2+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 5+ years of related experience
• For HVAC III: 5+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 8+ years of related experience
• For HVAC IV: 8+ years of related experience or HSD/GED with 8+ years of related experience

Skills

• Technical school training with field experience in AC, Heating, Chilled Water Systems, Building Automation Controls, and Maintenance
• EPA certified for refrigeration gases

Pay

Salary Range (hourly): $24.76 - $38.70

Schedule

Saturday-Wednesday 10:00pm – 8:30am
