About the role

This is a consultative, relationship-focused sales role targeting commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. You will identify opportunities, develop tailored HVAC solutions, and guide decision-makers through replacement, retrofit, service, and maintenance investments. Your credibility, communication skills, and presence will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess a consultative, relationship-focused approach to commercial HVAC sales
  • Prospect, develop, and manage commercial HVAC sales opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with property owners, facility managers, contractors, and decision-makers
  • Conduct site visits, assess system needs, and develop customized HVAC solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals, ROI analyses, and system recommendations
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams
  • Manage long sales cycles while maintaining consistent pipeline activity
  • Negotiate contracts and close profitable, long-term agreements
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Track activity and maintain accurate records in CRM systems

Qualifications

  • Commercial HVAC sales experience preferred [2-10 years proven track record]
  • B2B or Technical Solution Sales Experience Required
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service agreements, building automation and capital projects a plus
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and proposal software
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally
