Overview

The IS Technical Services Team Manager is responsible for the execution of Retro-Commissioning and Commissioning services for assigned projects, adhering to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. This role involves collaborating with various project delivery teams, leading and developing resources, and ensuring project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned duties in accordance with Company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Mentor and manage assigned team members.
  • Develop and update Technical Services Project Execution Plans to meet project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage project forecasts, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with project engineering executive and construction manager to optimize staff utilization and skill sets.
  • Track energy performance and ensure performance targets are met.
  • Communicate project requirements to all parties involved.
  • Identify and address design or construction issues, propose solutions, and escalate constraints.
  • Review and document expenses and time entries for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct project closeout activities, including reporting, team reviews, and lessons learned meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of commissioning or related experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal or limited information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Competency with Cloud-Based commissioning software platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering Intern (EI) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Commissioning Certification from ACG, BCxA, ASHRAE.
  • Building automation systems design and programming experience.

Travel Requirements

0-5% of the time will be spent traveling to job sites/offices.

  • Climbing stairs.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles.
  • Operating machinery and/or power tools.

Environmental Conditions

  • Quiet environment.
  • No outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
  • Noisy environment.

Pay Range

USD $102,078.90 - USD $136,255.35 /Yr.
