HVAC & Controls Systems Manager
Summary of Job Duties
This position is responsible for managing the maintenance and modification of the Building Automation System (BAS) related to the operation of HVAC equipment and the HVAC/R equipment serving the medical, educational, and research facilities on the UAMS Campus. These systems are vital to the safety, comfort, and general wellbeing of patients, students, and employees. This position is also responsible for managing maintenance and repair during non-standard business hours as well as assisting with all problems and/or emergencies relating to facility issues on the UAMS Campus.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: HS diploma/GED plus 10 years of HVAC Control’s experience with additional 5 years supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license with fewer than 12 points on their Motor Vehicle Record
- Computer program proficiency level: Intermediate
- Baccalaureate Degree with a Major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Similar (Preferred)
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- CHFM or CHC (Preferred)
- Computer program proficiency level: Advanced (Preferred)
