About the role

The HVAC Manager oversees the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a commercial building. The role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with other departments to maintain optimal building conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of HVAC maintenance team
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards
• Coordinate with facility management and engineering teams to address building issues
• Develop and implement training programs for HVAC technicians
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on HVAC systems
• Manage budget and schedule for HVAC repairs and replacements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HVAC or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC management
• Proven ability to manage teams and resolve complex problems
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and maintenance procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with HVAC diagnostic tools

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
