HVAC Retro-Commissioning Services Manager

Overview

The IS Technical Services Team Manager is responsible for the execution of Retro-Commissioning and Commissioning services for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties in accordance with Company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Mentor and manage assigned team members.
• Develop and update Technical Services Project Execution Plans to meet project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage project forecasts, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure project requirements are accurately documented and communicated.
• Coordinate with the Energy Management team to quantify and prioritize the response to existing conditions and issues.
• Assist with resolving issues and escalating constraints to project outcomes and scope completion.
• Review and document expenses and time entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct project closeout activities including reporting, team reviews, and lessons learned meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of commissioning or related experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal information and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based commissioning software platforms.
