About the role
TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading Commercial & Industrial HVAC Manufacturers Representative based in Illinois. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers while supporting long-term business growth.
- Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates, quotations, proposals, and supporting documentation for HVAC projects.
- Review construction drawings, project specifications, and addenda to prepare complete and accurate bid submissions.
- Provide guidance, product recommendations, and support to customers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of product features, capabilities, and limitations.
- Prepare project submittals and process customer orders from release through completion.
- Maintain order status and provide customers with timely updates.
- Cook up shipping information, expedite deliveries when necessary, and assist with shipping discrepancies and warranty claims.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the HVAC industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC sales, estimating, or engineering.
- Bachelor's degree is an asset; in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system design, functionality, and applications.
- Knowledge of sales processes, customer support, technical consulting, and account management.
- Proficiency with computer applications and web-based software platforms.
