About the role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Account Manager to drive business growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. This role is responsible for managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, preparing proposals, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients by understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and target industries.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with clients and technical teams to develop customized HVAC solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely quotations based on customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Monitor relevant websites for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and prepare competitive proposals.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to support customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, proposals, and sales activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC sales and account management.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and growing existing customer accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to close business opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet customer deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical HVAC concepts, products, and solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Schedule

Full-time Monday through Friday. Occasional travel required.
