As an Army Fellow, will you perform the following duties in a progressive learning environment: Utilize a wide range of human resources practices, regulations, and precedents to assist in providing human resources advisory and technical services on organizational functions and work practices.Serves as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors seeking information on routine, non-precedent-setting labor management and employee relations (LMER) rules, procedures, and rights.Assist senior specialists by gathering, organizing, and analyzing documentation, evidence, and timelines for basic employee relations cases (e.g., performance issues, attendance problems, and minor misconduct).Conduct a wide range of negotiation procedures and techniques, advocacy, mediation, interest-based bargaining, and other problem-solving approaches to resolve problems.Receives, logs, and performs initial administrative reviews of formal and informal grievances, unfair labor practice (ULP) charges, and labor relations requests. Conditions of employment Must sign a mobility agreement if selected.Must sign an Army Fellows Participant Agreement if selected.Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
