About the role
Human Resources Specialist position in the automotive industry, located in Toledo, OH. This is a full-time, in-person role.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruiting activities, including candidate screening, interviews, and hiring coordination.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and training programs.
- Respond to employee questions and assist with workplace and employee relations matters.
- Support management with staffing, performance, training, and other HR-related needs.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and related reports.
- Provide guidance to employees and supervisors regarding company policies and HR procedures.
- Coordinate HR information and reporting with other company locations as needed.
- Communicate HR-related information and management direction to employees.
- Help foster effective communication and positive working relationships in a multicultural workplace.
- Support compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources or a related administrative role.
- Working knowledge of basic HR practices and employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is a plus.
- Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required.
Pay
$50,000–$60,000 per year.
