Due to growth, we're looking for a Human Resources & Payroll Manager to join our team based in Nashville, TN. The role offers a hybrid schedule.

Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, and 401(k) offerings.
Draft, update, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook content, procedures, forms, and workflows.
Cook up performance review cycles across Apex locations and ensure timely completion by managers.
Address employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues with professionalism, fairness, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
Cook up onboarding and orientation for new hires and support a consistent introduction to Apex policies and expectations.
Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Cook up payroll processing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration across Apex operations.

Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, payroll, and people operations.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, labor law compliance, performance management, and payroll processes.
- Experience supporting multi-location and/or multi-state operations.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and professional business documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice to have skills:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or comparable HR certification.
- Experience in construction, skilled trades, field operations, or another fast-moving operational environment.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
