About the role

The Human Resources Operations Generalist at NARA Northwest partners with the Human Resources Director to implement Human Resources initiatives, coordinate operational projects, improve department processes, support compensation and HR technology functions, develop reports and documentation, and ensure assigned projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This position serves as a key operational resource by improving systems, enhancing workflows, and supporting the overall effectiveness of Human Resources operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned Human Resources projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and required follow-up are completed.
  • Cook up multiple Human Resources projects simultaneously by managing timelines, milestones, deliverables, priorities, and project follow-up.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Human Resources processes, workflows, forms, templates, standard operating procedures, and other operational documentation.
  • Evaluate Human Resources processes and implement operational improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Cook up Human Resources technology initiatives by improving HRIS functionality, workflow automation, reporting, electronic forms, applicant tracking systems, and other Human Resources technology solutions.
  • Partner with Human Resources team members to develop and maintain the organization's job description library, position documentation, and associated approval and revision processes.
  • Partner with the Human Resources Director to support compensation administration through market research, compensation data analysis, years of experience reviews, internal equity analyses, and preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Support assigned Human Resources compliance projects by coordinating project timelines, collecting and analyzing information, preparing documentation, and tracking work through completion.
  • Develop and maintain Human Resources reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and workforce data to support Human Resources operations and decision-making.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Human Resources policies, procedures, forms, templates, and standard operating procedures to support consistent and efficient Human Resources operations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health, education, or social services setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.

Pay

The wage range for this position is $37.50 – $39.90 hourly, non-exempt.

Schedule

This is an in-person position with hybrid flexibility after 6 months of employment. Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
