Human Resources Operations Coordinator - Year Round

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Support the daily operations of the workers' compensation program, resort-wide safety training, compliance monitoring, and record keeping. This role also provides administrative support and collaborates closely with the Benefits Team to foster a safe and healthy work environment across Deer Valley.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the entry, tracking, and administration of workers' compensation claims, supporting employees and managers throughout the process.
  • Cook and communicate with employees and managers to provide accurate and timely information related to claims and accommodations.
  • Participate in incident investigations and help implement action plans to reduce future incidents.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits Specialist to maintain and update OSHA recordkeeping logs.
  • Manage the driving program database, process Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) requests, and follow up on accident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external safety regulations, maintaining confidentiality where required.
  • Communicate with departments to identify safety training needs and assist with the roll out of plans.
  • Support the coordination of safety and wellness programs.
  • Train and support managers and supervisors on company policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative coverage and support for the HR team as needed.
  • Aid in record keeping, reporting, and general office responsibilities.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in a variety of software platforms with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with Workday, Office 365, and Freshservice (or similar ticketing platforms) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel information.
  • Flexible scheduling required, including holidays and weekends.
  • Compliance experience, knowledge of workers' compensation, and OSHA requirements preferred.

Pay

Pay: $22.00 - 25.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
