Human Resources Manager - Talent & Learning
Talent Acquisition
Recruit for open roles across the organization, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, and screening resumes.
Conduct interviews and coordinate the interview process with hiring managers.
Prepare and extend offer letters to selected candidates.
Serve as the main point of contact for recruiting activity, from requisition to offer letter.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and identify the right candidates for each role.
Training & Development
Drive and deliver ACS's established training program, conducting New Hire Orientation and other Learner/Instructor-driven courses through the LMS.
Create new training content, in partnership with the HR Director, that's relatable, engaging, and drives real knowledge retention.
Help build and maintain succession plans, identifying development needs for key roles and future leaders.
Track training completion and effectiveness, using data to continuously refine the program.
Support managers in reinforcing training through on-the-job coaching and skill development.
Payroll & HRIS
Responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of employee information and the transmission of the biweekly company payroll through UKG Ready.
HR Analytics, Reporting
Generate regular HR reports for Senior Leadership to assist in managing labor and employee performance.
Compensation, Benefits & 401(k)
Administer the ACS 401(k) plan, deferral enrollments, loan administration and ensures continuous compliance with regulations from the ACA, ERISA, IRS, DOL and other government agencies in partnership with the HR Director.
Performance Management
Ensure performance related issues are addressed by Managers in a professional and timely manner.
Aid in the creation and delivery of performance management processes and requirements with Managers.
Provide guidance through the process to ensure compliance.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Manage the day-to-day processing of various ACS employee engagement initiatives (ACS Values Awards, ACS Quarterly Recipients, “Say Yes” Fund, Onboarding Packages, Birthday and Anniversaries).
Qualifications
- Confidence in operating HR Technologies, including Payroll software, PMS and LMS systems and previous experience in system migration and implementation.
- 4-5 years of previous experience in a Generalist capacity.
- Knowledge of and experience with Federal and Multi-state employment laws, especially in the State of NJ.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred, HR Certification (SHRM or HCRI PHR) also strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in a HR role, with a track record of implementing innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
