About the role

We are seeking a pioneering Human Resources Manager to lead our transition from a semi-informal family culture to a structured, compliant, and empowering workplace. The ideal candidate will ensure fairness, compliance, and staff wellbeing while balancing professionalism with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HR systems that align with Tanzanian employment law
• Strengthen HR processes to support organizational growth and change management
• Support pastoral care initiatives within the organization
• Bridge communication between leadership and staff, particularly focusing on the needs of a 70% deaf workforce

Requirements

• Proven experience in human resources management
• Strong understanding of Tanzanian employment laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in bridging diverse communication needs
• Ability to foster a compassionate and professional work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience
• Experience managing teams with significant communication challenges
• Knowledge of disability inclusion practices and policies
