Reporting directly to ownership and overseeing one Office Assistant, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, supervisors, and employees across a multi-shift manufacturing operation. No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be recruiting talent, the next coaching a supervisor through an employee relations issue, developing training programs, administering benefits, supporting payroll, or helping shape the employee experience across the organization. What You'll Do As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead the full employee lifecycle and oversee all HR functions, including: Lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning effortsServe as a trusted resource for employees, supervisors, and ownershipManage employee relations, performance management, coaching, and investigationsAdminister payroll, compensation, benefits, leave programs, and HR recordsOversee FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, unemployment, and related compliance mattersDevelop and deliver employee training and leadership development initiativesMaintain HR policies, employee handbook, and compliance with employment regulationsSupport safety initiatives, OSHA-related activities, and Workers' Compensation processesCoordinate employee recognition programs, company events, and culture-building activitiesPartner with leadership to support organizational growth and workforce developmentOversee and develop one Office Assistant Qualifications 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experienceManufacturing HR experience requiredExperience supporting a multi-shift production environmentPrevious experience as a stand-alone HR professional or within a small HR team strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredStrong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, HR compliance, and HR operationsProven ability to build relationships, coach leaders, and influence at all levels of an organizationStrong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus Schedule & Benefits This position is fully onsite in Mequon, Wisconsin, with core business hours generally between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., while maintaining the flexibility and visibility needed to support employees and leaders across all shifts.
