Human Resources Manager
Description
Lead all human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
Partner with operational leaders to support workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.
Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Manage employee relations matters, investigations, coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Oversee benefits administration, compensation programs, HR policies, and payroll coordination.
Lead employee engagement, training, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
Track HR metrics and identify opportunities to improve workforce effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within construction, industrial, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting both office and field-based employees.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
- Experience in a multi-site construction environment is a plus.
