About the role
The Human Resources Manager provides human resources field support for Reservations and Customer Care, acting as a strategic business partner for clients across the United States. The role ensures effective and consistent delivery of HR services, including coaching, sourcing, performance management, compensation, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and meet client needs while executing service delivery systems.
- Create integrated solutions to business problems or issues.
- Balance decision-making as an employee and company advocate.
- Develop relationships with employees, groups, and leaders to communicate company policies, programs, and procedures.
- Provide leadership around organizational change, process consultation, and organizational development.
- Impart HR expertise to management and influence clients based on company policy and applicable laws, focusing on positive employee relations.
- Serve as project lead/representative for corporate projects, managing timelines and collaborating with cross-divisional teams.
- Develop strategic and tactical plans that promote a safety-conscious environment for employee well-being.
- Travel is required for this position.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of HR Manager experience supporting a business unit (or equivalent).
- General knowledge of HR disciplines with technical competence in at least three of the following: compensation, benefits, employment, employee/labor relations, training/development, EEO, or organizational development.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and adaptability.
- Effective platform/presentation skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strategic thinking, leadership, and influence in decision-making.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred.
