About the role

GSD is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the global workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and execute plans, processes, and projects in support of departmental strategy
  • Support the professional development and growth of direct reports
  • Support critical decision-making processes
  • Support budgetary planning, control, and analysis
  • Manage the end-to-end administration of payroll and all benefit programs
  • Ensure all compensation and benefit practices align with federal, state, and local mandates
  • Maintain a high-visibility presence to build trust and provide real-time coaching
  • Facilitate the resolution of performance concerns
  • Lead job classification reviews and market benchmarking
  • Translate departmental shifts into actionable compensation proposals
  • Lead the documentation and root-cause analysis of workplace incidents
  • Ensure the organization remains audit-ready
  • Manage compliance of workers’ comp lifecycle
  • Act as a primary advocate for injured workers
  • Manage medical, personal, and military Leave of Absences
  • Maintain integrity of professional development learning requests
  • Engage stakeholders for internal communications
  • Conduct comprehensive annual audits
  • Maintain rigorous protocols for data privacy
  • Lead background screening and investigative review
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Three (3) or more years management experience within Human Resources
  • Proven experience developing programs and teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field
  • Advanced HR certification preferred
  • Certification in project management desired
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Program oversight and management experience
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously under pressure
  • Cultural awareness and collaborative skills
  • Clear communication and data-driven presentation abilities
  • Influence organizational decisions
  • Solutions-first approach to organizational challenges
  • Experience in Human Resources management, including payroll and benefits administration
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws, compliance standards, and HR best practices
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Experience with Workday and ADP Workforce Now
  • Impressive judgment and discretion in handling sensitive personnel data
  • Rigorous organizational skills
  • Experience working and/or traveling domestically and internationally
