Responsibilities
- Participate as a strategic partner in developing the site's goals and programs, ensuring people strategies align with our needs.
- Maintain employee relations practices, including positive engagement with employee representatives and third-party/union partners.
- Evaluate and advise on programs and strategies impacting attraction, development, and retention of talent.
- Lead proactive recruiting strategies and selection techniques that ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, and other regulatory standards, while building a talent pipeline across all levels of the organization.
- Provide trusted guidance to managers and employees on HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, organizational change, and career development.
- Interpret and apply HR policies and employment law.
- Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps—then design programs to address them through succession planning, training, and leadership development.
- Guide programs that enhance safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement, promoting an environment where we value and inspire every employee to contribute.
- Be the on-site resource for compensation and benefits, supporting annual merit and incentive cycles, performance appraisals, and benefits inquiries in partnership with corporate HR and the Compensation COE.
- Manage the site's Worker's Compensation and disability programs (STD, FMLA, LTD), ensuring accurate administration together with relevant corporate partners.
Requirements
You will work in a hybrid model of 4 days at the office and 1 day remote.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 7–10 years of relevant HR experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, within a union or third-party-represented workforce.
- Working knowledge of employment and labor law.
- Experience linking business strategy to people programs, and leading organizational development and change efforts.
