Human Resources Manager

Position Overview
Elevate is seeking a Human Resources Manager for its Burlington manufacturing operation in Raeford, NC. The Raeford facility has produced dress uniform fabric for the U.S. Military for over 50 years. The HR Manager will join the management team and lead all human‑resources initiatives, supporting employee engagement, development, compliance, and overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR initiatives including employee engagement and retention, recruiting, training and development, benefit administration, employee relations, compensation administration, and safety programs.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the management team and all employees to drive success and performance aligned with business goals.
- Support the facility’s performance objectives through effective HR strategies and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of successful experience as an HR generalist with management responsibility.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and fostering positive employee relationships.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Prior experience managing training and safety programs (preferred).
