Human Resources Manager

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Human Resources Manager to take ownership of daily HR operations and support our continued growth. This position requires someone who can work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow matters through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee separations
• Serve as the primary contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
• Handle employee relations, investigations, discipline, performance reviews, and leave requests
• Process employee changes and maintain accurate, confidential personnel records
• Coordinate payroll changes, benefits administration, and employment verifications
• Manage unemployment claims, workers’ compensation cases, and workplace incident follow-up
• Maintain DOT driver files and coordinate required drug and alcohol testing
• Track HR, safety, and regulatory documentation and deadlines
• Coordinate employee recognition and engagement activities

Requirements

• Must have a clean driving record & pass an MVR
• Previous experience in human resources
• SHRM or PHR certification is preferred
• Experience in equipment rental, construction, transportation, or a similar industry is a plus
• Must pass pre-employment drug test & background check
