What You'll Do
As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leadership while overseeing all aspects of human resources operations. You will play a key role in cultivating a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Human Resources functions and HR staff
- Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, programs, and best practices
- Manage compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment for technical and manufacturing positions
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies
- Provide guidance and support regarding employee performance, conduct, and workplace concerns
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and federal contractor requirements
- Oversee FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OFCCP, affirmative action, and related compliance programs
- Support and align HR initiatives with the company's Quality Management System
- Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements that support organizational goals
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources management experience, preferably within a federal contractor environment
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing compensation, benefits, leave programs, and employee relations
- Proven success recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, or other specialized roles
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
- Experience supporting multi-state and/or international operations
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technology, or highly regulated environments
