Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies, policies, and initiatives with the firm’s overall business goals.
- Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment support, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, processes, and initiatives that enhance organizational performance and employee experience.
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs including enrollment, education, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
- Lead compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and total rewards programs to maintain market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Oversee call center employee engagement strategies, partnering with leadership to enhance workplace culture, retention, and team performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while maintaining updated HR policies and procedures.
- Manage HR systems and employee data within the HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proper record keeping.
- Plan and support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and programs that foster a strong organizational culture.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and organizational effectiveness and help implement strategic improvements.
- Oversee office management functions and provide guidance to administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify opportunities for organizational improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 9+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience in an HR leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, compliance, and HR operational processes.
- Experience administering compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs.
- Proven ability to partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms; Paylocity experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- HR certification such as PHR or SPHR preferred.
- Experience in professional services or consulting environments is a plus.
