Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies, policies, and initiatives with the firm’s overall business goals.
  • Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment support, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, processes, and initiatives that enhance organizational performance and employee experience.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs including enrollment, education, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
  • Lead compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and total rewards programs to maintain market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Oversee call center employee engagement strategies, partnering with leadership to enhance workplace culture, retention, and team performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while maintaining updated HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage HR systems and employee data within the HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proper record keeping.
  • Plan and support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and programs that foster a strong organizational culture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and organizational effectiveness and help implement strategic improvements.
  • Oversee office management functions and provide guidance to administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify opportunities for organizational improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 9+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience in an HR leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, compliance, and HR operational processes.
  • Experience administering compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs.
  • Proven ability to partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms; Paylocity experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • HR certification such as PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • Experience in professional services or consulting environments is a plus.

Pay

The base salary pay range for the Human Resources Manager is $120,000 – $150,000.
