What You'll Do
- Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leadership while overseeing all aspects of human resources operations.
- Cultivate a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
- Lead and manage all Human Resources functions and HR staff.
- Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, programs, and best practices.
- Manage compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment for technical and manufacturing positions.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies.
- Provide guidance and support regarding employee performance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and federal contractor requirements.
- Oversee FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OFCCP, affirmative action, and related compliance programs.
- Support and align HR initiatives with the company's Quality Management System.
- Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements that support organizational goals.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources management experience, preferably within a federal contractor environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing compensation, benefits, leave programs, and employee relations.
- Proven success recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, or other specialized roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Experience supporting multi-state and/or international operations.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technology, or highly regulated environments.
