What You'll Do

  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leadership while overseeing all aspects of human resources operations.
  • Cultivate a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
  • Lead and manage all Human Resources functions and HR staff.
  • Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, programs, and best practices.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment for technical and manufacturing positions.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies.
  • Provide guidance and support regarding employee performance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and federal contractor requirements.
  • Oversee FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OFCCP, affirmative action, and related compliance programs.
  • Support and align HR initiatives with the company's Quality Management System.
  • Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements that support organizational goals.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources management experience, preferably within a federal contractor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing compensation, benefits, leave programs, and employee relations.
  • Proven success recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, or other specialized roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
  • Experience supporting multi-state and/or international operations.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technology, or highly regulated environments.
