Human Resources Manager

About the role

Holy Ghost Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support the recruitment process including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
• Care for new hire onboarding and employee orientation
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Coordinate benefits administration, serve as the point for employee inquiries, and open enrollment processes
• Support employee relations by responding to HR-related questions and helping resolve workplace concerns in a respectful, professional and confidential manner
• Aid in performance management processes and employee development initiatives
• Serve as the point person for maintaining and updating the school's Employee Handbook, ensuring that all changes in school policies are properly and accurately reflected
• Serve as the point for ensuring that all employees are up to date with clearances and background checks, etc.
• Collaborate on the administration of training(s) for the faculty and staff (including athletic coaches) that address topics related to wellness, safe environment, and other related topics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of human resources including payroll and other related administrative experience
• Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Pay

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
