About the role
This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Manager role based in High Point, NC.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for manufacturing and office teams.
- Manage employee relations, coach leaders on performance management, and support conflict resolution and corrective action processes.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, support payroll-related data accuracy, and help ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain HR records, support training and development initiatives, lead engagement and retention efforts, and partner with leadership on HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, workplace safety practices, and HR policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze HR data, maintain accurate records, and use HRIS or related HR technology tools.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
