Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department managers to support recruitment needs.
- Care for job postings, interviews, candidate communication, and hiring processes.
- Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Support workforce planning and staffing needs.
Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Leave Administer
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, paid time off, leave, and related employee programs.
- Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with benefit-related questions.
- Work with brokers, carriers, and vendors to resolve benefit or claim issues.
- Cook up payroll-related information with Finance and ensure accurate HR data.
- Support leave administration, including FMLA and other applicable leave requirements.
Employee Relations and Performance Management
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
- Support management with coaching, corrective action, disciplinary procedures, and documentation.
- Aid in resolving workplace concerns, employee complaints, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Support performance management processes and employee development activities.
HR Compliance, Policies, and Procedures
- Maintain compliance with HR-related requirements, including ADA, ADEA, HIPAA, FMLA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
- Review, update, and administer HR policies, procedures, and employee standards.
- Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR documentation.
- Support audits, reporting, hearings, and investigations as needed.
Training and Organizational Support
- Support training programs and compliance-related training needs.
- Write and maintain job descriptions.
- Advise managers on company policies, organizational matters, and recommended improvements.
- Recommend HR systems, processes, and programs that align with company goals.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
