Human Resources Manager
About the role
The Human Resources Manager leads full-cycle HR operations with a strong focus on talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR process optimization. This role partners closely with leadership and hiring managers to attract top talent, support employee engagement and retention, and ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices. The Human Resources Manager also manages HR systems, data integrity, and reporting to provide insights that support strategic workforce planning.
Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions, from requisition through offer acceptance.
Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies and workforce planning initiatives aligned with organizational needs.
Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure strong alignment with role requirements and organizational culture.
Career coordination and management of job postings, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment marketing efforts to attract qualified talent.

Monitor hiring metrics and trends, and identify opportunities to improve recruitment effectiveness and time-to-fill.
Design, coordinate, and continuously improve onboarding programs that support successful integration of new employees.
Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure completion of all required documentation and onboarding tasks.
Partner with department leaders to ensure new employees receive appropriate training, resources, and support.
Conduct regular check-ins with new hires to support engagement, address concerns, and improve retention.
Maintain and update onboarding materials, policies, and procedures to keep them current and effective.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries.
Administer health, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, and other employee benefit offerings accurately and timely.
Collaborate with benefit providers and brokers to resolve employee questions, issues, and escalations.
Ensure compliance with applicable benefits-related regulations and reporting requirements.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity and security.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across HR operations.
Support performance management processes, including coaching leaders on performance and employee relations matters.
Aid in employee relations issues by providing guidance, documentation, and policy interpretation.
Support policy administration, including communication, updates, and consistent application across the organization.
Aid in talent management initiatives, including recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align HR practices with organizational goals and project requirements, including environments such as tilt-up, concrete, structural steel, and data center projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Progressive Human Resources experience (multiple years) covering key HR functional areas.
Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding programs.
Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and life insurance programs.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
Experience with employee relations, including supporting performance management and policy administration.
Experience in talent management, including recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to employees at all levels.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees and leaders.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications
Experience supporting HR functions in environments involving tilt-up, concrete, structural steel, or data center projects.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems for managing employee data and recruitment workflows.
Experience developing and refining onboarding materials, policies, and procedures.
Ability to interpret and apply HR policies consistently while balancing organizational and employee needs.
Experience monitoring and reporting on HR metrics, such as hiring, turnover, and engagement indicators.
Comfort working in a dynamic environment where HR processes are evolving and scaling.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and department leaders to achieve HR and business objectives.
