About the role
As the in-Unit Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role in a high-profile environment by leading frontline employee relations, onboarding, payroll administration, labor relations, HR compliance, and daily people operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily HR operations — Oversee hourly employee relations, investigations, and workplace issue resolution with fairness and consistency.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding — Drive hiring, interviewing, and new-hire orientation to build a strong, compliant workforce.
- Ensure HR compliance — Maintain accurate records, I-9s, personnel files, and adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Administer payroll processes — Oversee payroll accuracy, timelines, and regulatory alignment.
- Support labor relations — Partner on CBA interpretation, grievance handling, and union-related communication.
- Drive HR initiatives — Implement programs that strengthen culture, engagement, performance, and team development.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience: 2 Years
- Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years in HR
