Support the Food Service department with Deaconess Health System located in Evansville, IN, Newburgh, IN, and Henderson, KY. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to HR operations that directly impact employee experience, from onboarding to records management
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, offering support on a wide range of HR-related questions
• Work with accuracy and attention to detail in managing data, systems, and compliance documentation
• Help streamline and improve processes that support talent, mobility, and leave administration
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence and enhance team effectiveness
• Gain hands-on experience with HR systems and tools while supporting internal customers
• Be part of a collaborative, solutions-focused team that values growth, service, and accountability

Requirements

• A detail-oriented mindset with a strong grasp of HR systems, processes, and data accuracy
• Skillset for juggling multiple priorities while staying organized, adaptable, and deadline-driven
• A collaborative, service-first approach to resolving employee inquiries and supporting team goals
• Comfort navigating policies and procedures with the ability to explain them clearly and confidently
• A continuous improvement mindset—always looking for ways to streamline, simplify, and enhance processes
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

Pay

Pay Range: $21.13 per hour - $27.34 per hour
