About the opportunity
Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm
Setting: On-site
Responsibilities
- Support leave of absence administration, including FMLA, New York Paid Family Leave, New York Disability Benefits Law, and personal or medical leaves
- Review medical certifications for completeness and compliance and maintain accurate leave documentation
- Communicate with employees, managers, and healthcare providers regarding leave requirements, status, and return-to-work timelines
- Provide general HR administrative support such as scheduling meetings, answering phones, routing messages, and handling correspondence
- Aid with filing, office coordination, supply inventory, and special HR projects as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in an Administrative, Clerical and/or related role
- High School Diploma / GED
- Some experience in Human Resources and/or Leave of Absence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
