We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support a manufacturing organization in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. This role will lead core HR operations, strengthen employee engagement, and help build consistent people practices across the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day human resources activities, ensuring policies, procedures, and employee programs are administered effectively across the organization.
- Serve as a primary resource for employee relations matters by addressing workplace concerns, guiding managers, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing offers, and supporting successful hiring outcomes.
- Manage onboarding processes to help new employees integrate smoothly and gain the tools, information, and support needed to succeed.
- Administer employee benefits programs, respond to questions, and coordinate enrollment and related updates with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and optimize HRIS data and workflows to support reporting, compliance, and efficient human resources administration.
- Partner with leadership to implement HR initiatives that align staffing, retention, and performance goals with business needs.
- Ensure personnel records and HR documentation are handled accurately and in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in human resources management within a business environment, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong background in employee relations, including the ability to handle sensitive matters with sound judgment and professionalism.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and structured onboarding practices.
- Working knowledge of benefits administration and general HR operational processes.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
