Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Responsibilities
Serve as first point of HR contact for employees.
Provide coaching to managers on how to deliver corrective actions, resolve conflict and communicate effectively.
Partner with HR and leadership to ensure that policies are adhered to consistently and fairly.
- Manage full cycle recruiting for healthcare related roles as assigned.
- Facilitate the sourcing of applicants, scheduling interviews with hiring managers, making job offers, etc.
- Manage the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Auxiliary tasks include assisting with auditing employee timesheets and updating HRIS systems.
- Auxiliary tasks include assisting with larger HR projects like driving employee engagement and system upgrades.
- Auxiliary tasks include coordinating vendor contracts, Medicaid re-validations and physician credentialing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources (HR) preferred; but not required.
- (3) to (5) years progressive HR experience - Strong working knowledge of HR functions including recruiting, benefits, compensation, training, employment laws/regulations.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in Human Resources within the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Experience with HRIS preferred (ie iCIMS, Workday, Lawson and UKG Pro).
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older; able to pass a background check and drug screen.
