About the role
A bilingual HR Generalist is needed to support a diverse workforce and serve as the primary HR resource for a local facility. The ideal candidate will enjoy wearing multiple hats and making a direct impact across all areas of human resources.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR-related matters
- Support employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives
- Administer payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and HR compliance activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Cook up new hire orientation and employee training programs
- Aid with performance management, compensation planning, and workforce development
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with operational leaders to support business objectives and employee engagement
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish (required)
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms and timekeeping systems is a plus
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish, strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, and experience with HRIS platforms and timekeeping systems.
