Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a growing organization in the St. Louis Metro area seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist will serve as a key member of the HR team, supporting employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance. Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:· Lead performance management activities including coaching, counseling, corrective actions, and employee development initiatives· Administer hourly employee pay programs, including pay progression and compensation changes· Manage employee benefits enrollment, education, and ongoing maintenance within benefit administration systems· Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts while supporting employee retention strategies· Serve as a resource for employees and management regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, and HR-related matters· Investigate and resolve employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism· Maintain accurate and organized employee records, HR files, and department reporting· Oversee unemployment and disability claims processing, ensuring timely responses and compliance requirements are met· Human Resources Generalist Minimum Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience require· Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred· Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, recruiting, and HR compliance· Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint· Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills This position offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
