Responsibilities
- Develop positive working relationships with employees and serve as a resource for questions regarding company policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Assist with new employee orientation, onboarding, and training activities.
- Cook with external staffing agencies to support hiring needs and maintain accurate employee records.
- Review employee timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling information to help ensure payroll is processed accurately.
- Maintain organized documentation related to employee corrective actions, statements, workplace incidents, safety matters, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation related to workplace incidents and employee safety concerns.
- Aid in coordinating and monitoring employee participation in required workplace safety training.
- Work closely with facility management to encourage and maintain a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment.
- Help ensure HR practices and workplace operations align with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment regulations.
- Aid in HR projects, process improvements, and other initiatives based on the needs of the facility and organization.
- Perform additional HR and administrative responsibilities as needed to support daily operations.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in human resource related roles.
- Bilingual (in English and Spanish).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic functions and the ability to work with spreadsheets.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the workforce.
- Must be comfortable working 100% onsite on 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM.
- Previous experience supporting employees in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, HR Administrative, or similar capacity is preferred.
- Experience with employee relations, onboarding, timekeeping/payroll support, HR documentation, or safety/compliance is a plus.
Qualifications
