About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join the team in Redmond, Washington on a HYBRID Contract basis. In this role, you will provide day-to-day HR support for employees and managers, helping to administer core programs across benefits, compensation coordination, compliance, and employee support. This position works closely with HR leadership to strengthen the employee experience, maintain accurate records, and support consistent application of workplace policies and employment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support employees and people leaders with timely guidance on HR processes, workplace questions, and policy interpretation.
  • Administer benefit-related activities such as enrollments, updates, employee inquiries, and communication of available programs.
  • Maintain and update HRIS records to ensure employee information is accurate, complete, and aligned with reporting needs.
  • Assist with compensation-related administration, including data tracking, documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Help monitor compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations through consistent HR practices and recordkeeping.
  • Partner with HR leadership to support employee engagement efforts, programs, and initiatives that contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Prepare HR reports, audit personnel data, and help resolve discrepancies to support informed decision-making and operational accuracy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or broader HR support role.
  • Hands-on experience with employee relations, HR administration, and onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration and the ability to respond to employee questions with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms to enter, maintain, and review employee data.
  • Familiarity with compensation support processes, HR documentation, and compliance-focused record management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and HR partners.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a Contract environment.
