We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide on-site support for a manufacturing operation in Phoenix, Arizona. This long-term contract position will serve as the primary HR contact for employees, supervisors, and plant leadership, helping the facility manage daily people-related needs with a practical, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

  • Drive full-cycle recruiting efforts for hourly production and operations roles, from sourcing candidates through offer coordination.
  • Lead the onboarding experience for new employees, including orientation activities and completion of required employment documentation.
  • Address employee questions and workplace concerns promptly, providing day-to-day guidance on HR matters and helping foster positive employee relations.
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to resolve attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping issues in alignment with company practices.
  • Support performance-related processes by preparing documentation, assisting with corrective action steps, and coordinating separation activities when needed.
  • Advise plant leadership on the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employee issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and oversee routine HR administrative tasks to support compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Build trust with the workforce by remaining visible and approachable on the manufacturing floor and responding to concerns in real time.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.
  • Prior work supporting manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or other hourly employee environments is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in employee relations, including handling sensitive workplace concerns with sound judgment.
  • Experience recruiting for high-volume or hourly roles in an operational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with employees, frontline supervisors, and plant management.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working fully on-site in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule

30 hours per week initially.
