About the role
Pacific Aviation is seeking an energetic, positive, and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist with 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting employees and leaders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping create a workplace where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. The position is based at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and also assists our SFO HR operations remotely. You will successfully partner with leading the strategy and execution of all our HR efforts for our airline accounts in Seattle and San Francisco.
What You'll Be Doing
- Employee Relations & HR Partnership: Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and leaders regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns; build strong, trusted relationships throughout the organization; provide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and corrective action matters; support conflict resolution efforts and workplace investigations as needed; help foster a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment
- Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure compliance with California employment laws and regulations; administer leaves of absence and employee accommodations; maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data; support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes; help ensure HR operations run smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Assist with recruiting activities including candidate screening, interviewing, job fairs, and offer coordination; partner with hiring managers to attract top talent; facilitate engaging onboarding and orientation programs for new hires; help create a positive first impression for every employee
- Employee Engagement & Development: Deliver responsive, professional, and respectful HR support; support employee engagement, recognition, and morale-building initiatives; assist with training and development programs; help cultivate a workplace culture where employees feel connected and appreciated
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
- Strong working knowledge of: California Labor Code, Wage and Hour regulations, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and leave administration, and employee relations best practices
- Experience supporting leaders and employees in a service-oriented environment
- Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements
- Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification (strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting multi-site employee populations
- Bilingual language skills
- Experience with social media recruiting, posting, and candidate tracking

Pay
Salary range of $70K to $85K depending on experience plus bonus.
